Why does body have to removed?
The RR Sport and Discovery 3/4 sometimes require the body to be removed from the chassis to complete some more complicated jobs.
Removing the body allows greater access to areas which would otherwise be very difficult to access.
Removal of the body is carried out using a 2 post lift to raise the body off the chassis leaving the running gear including engine on the chassis.
This allows for jobs like engine replacement, turbo replacement , some suspension work, brake pipes and other jobs to be carried with less obstruction from the body. It can also show other areas that may need attention that can be carried out at a reduce labour cost due the greater access.
